The only thing we are specifically requesting in terms of a "dress code" is to please avoid wearing bright/neon colors as that can be very distracting in photos, and we paid a decent amount for our photographer to ensure we were able to get the highest quality photos possible of our special day. NOT DURING THE CEREMONY. This is extremely important to us. We will be having an Unplugged Ceremony in which we request all guests to put away, silence or turn off all of their devices (cell phones, cameras, etc.) for the duration of the ceremony. We want everyone to be present and in the moment with us. We also paid for an amazing photographer to capture every bit of this experience for us, and we promise to share the photos with everyone. We will make sure to leave plenty of time for photos at the reception, we promise. :)

Alcohol will not be provided; however, it is allowed at the venue, so feel free to BYOB. :)

NO - Smoking is strictly prohibited on the grounds. All facilities are non-smoking. We ask that you please respect the venue's guidelines for the duration of our event. Thank you!

The answer is yes to both, HOWEVER please include whether or not your children, and how many, will be attending with your RSVP as well so that we can try to make accommodations. There will not be a separate food menu or anything for children, so please plan accordingly.

There is ample parking available for guests at The Meadows in Monterey.

The ceremony will be outdoors (weather permitting), so please prepare accordingly. There is also an indoor location on the property should the weather not allow for an outdoor ceremony. The reception, however, will be indoors directly next to the area where the ceremony is being held.

We have listed a few hotel options nearby under the "Travel" tab at the top of the page in order to help assist with this. There are not as many options nearby in Monterey, however Crossville is a fairly close city with many more options and most hotels we have looked at in that area are only roughly 21 minutes away from the venue.

Either option is fine. Stamps were already included on the physical invitation to make it as easy as possible to RSVP, but either way is fine, just please RSVP by September 9th so that we can adequately prepare for the event.
